Eminently Qualified
Ed’s Tree Service has been serving the Maryland area for over twenty years. The company is co-owned by Ed and Alice
Fernandes. Ed is expertly skilled in the removal and pruning of trees. Alice holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering
and she worked for the DOD for several years before joining the business in 1987. She has taken several courses in business
administration since that time. Alice has undergone years of training in the tree business and is a licensed tree expert by
the State of Maryland.
Licensed and Insured
Tree service companies in the State of Maryland
are required to be licensed and to carry liability insurance and workman’s compensation. Our license number is #557
and is held by the owner, Alice Fernandes. We carry general liability insurance that covers any incidental property
damage. We carry workman’s compensation for our crew. If needed, we can have the insurance company mail
or fax a certificate of insurance verifying our coverage with the customer listed as a certificate holder.
